Addiction is not too great for the power of Christ…

This is the first photo I’ve ever made for tumblr. This is for a new series known as GODart, where I seek to lift up God and His Word through the creative arts. I am starting with some texts about sexual purity. It is quite a major struggle for many Christians, and as I seek to be blessed by hiding God’s word in my heart so that I may not sin against Him, I pray that you will join me. Take care, and God bless!
I love you too, Lord, from the bottom of my heart. Have me, it’s the least I can give to repay You. May I be saved to be in Your kingdom forever, in Christ’s name I pray, Amen.
Jesus dying on the cross and being resurrected on the third day, He delivered the fatal thrust of the sword into the very heart of the enemy of souls.
Today, Satan is a defeated enemy…groaning in the throes of death. He has no more authority to defeat anyone; he does not have circumstances. All he can do is tempt; but he cannot compell you to give in.
Alejandro Bullon, Finding Fulfillment in Christ, p. 164
"Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” James 1:!2
"Lord, I can’t do it. If it depends on me, then I am lost. That is why I turn my eyes toward You. Can You do anything to help this humble sinner?" At that moment, the fulfillment of the divine promise is granted: "I will heal your land."
That promise is still valid for you today. There is nothing in your life that Jesus Christ cannot heal. The sickness of sin is the worst of all diseases because it not only kills the body but it also kills the spirit. But throughout history, God has always fulfilled His promise in the lives of those who have come near Him in faith.
Alejandro Bullon, Finding Fulfillment in Christ, p. 163
" if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
More than two centuries ago, Jesus Christ said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden.” this is an invitation for those who are weary of living through the daily bitterness. It is an invitation for those who struggle and do not achieve. It is an invitation for those who are defeated—an invitation for those who have fallen into an exhaustive work routine without motivation.
No one ever came to Jesus and left frustrated. He is the Water of Life that quenches the thirst of the soul. He is the Bread that satisfies the hunger of the spirit. Millions have searched for Him and have received the healing balm of peace that inundates the heart of the tired wanderer
Today could be the day you encounter Jesus. It is so simple. Just open your heart and tell Him that you can’t do it alone. Accept your human limitations and trust in His divine power. Do not go out today to face things that await you without repeating Jesus’ promise to you: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
